This is a project that I started with a few friends out of necessity.

When I moved one of my other companies, our toll-free numbers kept failing and I would not know about it for long periods of time.

We had a lot of numbers and it was just too hard to keep track of.

So, I and a few of my friends created a system that would call phone numbers and alert the person who needs to know about phone outages.

We based it on the Asterisk Open Source PBX and the RUBY programming language ( later ported to Python ).

It's simple and works great.
